Once you have met all the minimum requirements, we will proceed to prepare the trademark application.
- The applicaiton is prepared and reviewed by one of our attorneys who then will contact you to sign the applicatyion.
- After the application is completed and signed; it is sent to the Florida Department of State for its review.
- Once the application is reviewed by one of the examiners it is either approved for registration or the examiner may require further information or can refuse the mark.
- Once approved for registration, the Department of State, issues a certificate of registration.
- This process usually takes approximately 2 weeks in a scenario where the trademark is granted. If the Department of State issues a requirement it can take an additional week.
COSTS
The total cost per trademark per class including all expenses as well as the official state fees is $400.00. We can guarantee that in a normal procedure, without any rejections by the Department of State, we will not charge any additional fees. This covers official fees, attorney’s fees and any correspondence or miscellaneous fees.
