• Bellow is a summarized process of registration of a trademark, during a normal procedure. This means, without any objections by a third party or rejections by the trademark office. • 1. Application is filed.


• 2. During 4-6 months after the application is filed, it is assigned to an examiner. The examiner will review the application to determine if the application is complete, complies with all the requirements and can be registered. He then either clears the mark for publication or issues an official action requiring clarifications or denying the mark.


• 3. Once the application is published in the official gazette, there is a 30 day term for third parties to oppose to the mark if they believe it could affect a previously registered mark.


• 4. After 30 days from publication, the examiner will issue a notice of allowance granting the mark and a registration number will be assigned along with a certificate.
